Kode With Klossy

Hi West Virginia friends!

We want to share an amazing opportunity for girls to learn to code right here in Appalachia!

We've been trying to get our friends at Kode with Klossy, a national girl's coding program, to pilot their first rural camp in Appalachia the past few years. This summer, we're so excited to share they are opening their first camp in Hazard, Kentucky! We know, it's not West Virginia, but it's a start. Here are the deets:

Kode with Klossy free 2-week coding bootcamp

Hazard, KY

June 15-26

for girls ages 13-18

TO APPLY VISIT: kodewithklossy.com/apply

We want to encourage as many girls in West Virginia as possible to apply. If we can get enough girls together, we're interested in finding partners to make transportation and accommodation for our West Virginia girls real. We're also hoping if there is enough WV momentum, we can inspire Kode with Klossy to open up a camp next year in our home state.

Check out the Kode with Klossy pitch deck for more inspiring information on the free program and their amazing curriculum.

Please share with your network and let's get girls coding in Appalachia!
