It’s time for Monongalia County's Summer Sizzler FREE BOOKS & SNACKS Event for Pre-k through High School!
Summer Sizzler runs Monday, June 15 through Thursday, June 18. Cool Buses are traveling to a location near you delivering FREE Books and Snacks to our Cool Bus Stops! Check your school website or scan the code to view the locations.
You only need to visit one Bus Stop to receive the entire set of books for each child. We look forward to seeing you there!

Students who wish to attend summer avalanche at Clay Battelle for students entering grade 6 through 8 in the fall should email Andrea Price at alprice@k12.wv.us to complete the general registration process. This includes band, strings, 6th grade boot camp, as well as a variety of other classes. Students must register by Thursday, May 28th. Class selection will be sent in a second email once the general registration is complete.
Current 8th through 11th grade students be scheduling classes for next year this week. Please encourage your students to come to school this week. Have a great evening!
Because of the impending forecast for tomorrow evening the Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony will be moved indoors to the Wilson Statler Gymnasium. The ceremony will still start at 7:00 pm, and admission is free. Doors will open at 5:30 pm. If you have any other questions, please contact the school.

Clay Battelle will be hosting Parent Teacher Conference this Thursday, March 12, from 3-6 pm. The LSIC will also be meeting that evening at 6:00 pm.
Seniors and Parents of Seniors! Need help with the FAFSA or have questions? A representative from the Higher Education Policy Commission (HEPC) will be at Clay-Battelle on February 25, 2026 from 1:30-3:30 pm to help you complete your FAFSA and answer questions. Contact Mrs. Conn at the school with questions. The priority deadline to complete your FAFSA is March 1st!
