Parents of 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students, we have a new dual enrollment class at Clay-Battelle. Justin Allar will be teaching Sustainability first block. It is a course that will fulfill your students general education credit requirements at WVU. Sustainability is free to all of our students, courtesy of the Howard Clark Foundation. Students must be enrolled in WVU ACCESS by Thursday. For further information, please contact Tina Conn at the school.

If you have registered your child for Summer Avalanche, please check your email for important updates daily. If you have provided general registration information, you will receive a link to select classes. Other information, including the bus schedule, lunch menu, and other special announcements, will be made via email. If you have any questions, please email Andrea Price @ alprice@k12.wv.us

Students who wish to attend summer avalanche at Clay Battelle for students entering grade 6 through 8 in the fall should email Andrea Price at alprice@k12.wv.us to complete the general registration process. This includes band, strings, 6th grade boot camp, as well as a variety of other classes. Students must register by Thursday, May 28th.  Class selection will be sent in a second email once the general registration is complete.

Current 8th through 11th grade students be scheduling classes for next year this week. Please encourage your students to come to school this week. Have a great evening!

Because of the impending forecast for tomorrow evening the Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony will be moved indoors to the Wilson Statler Gymnasium. The ceremony will still start at 7:00 pm, and admission is free. Doors will open at 5:30 pm. If you have any other questions, please contact the school.

Clay Battelle will be hosting Parent Teacher Conference this Thursday, March 12, from 3-6 pm. The LSIC will also be meeting that evening at 6:00 pm.

Seniors and Parents of Seniors! Need help with the FAFSA or have questions? A representative from the Higher Education Policy Commission (HEPC) will be at Clay-Battelle on February 25, 2026 from 1:30-3:30 pm to help you complete your FAFSA and answer questions. Contact Mrs. Conn at the school with questions. The priority deadline to complete your FAFSA is March 1st!

The FAFSA workshop that was scheduled for tomorrow evening has been cancelled.

The MTEC tour for 10th graders that was cancelled last week has been rescheduled for tomorrow, December 9. Students will be leaving Clay Battelle at 8:30 and return to Clay Battelle by 12:40.
