Due to storm damage, all Monongalia County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay for students on Tuesday, 4/22/2025. Also, due to power outages, there will be no school for students at Suncrest Elementary, Mason Dixon Elementary and Clay-Battelle High School on 4/22/2025.

Reminder: All Monongalia County Schools will dismiss 2 hours early on Thursday, April 17. There will be NO SCHOOL for students on Friday, April 18 & Monday, April 21.

Math Relay Races!
Mrs. Coon's class had math relay races combining mutlitplication and addition of fractions. It was so much fun and the students were super engaged!




Mrs. Pervola, Ms. Holi and Ms. Hall's Kindergarten class had a great time in the STEAM lab coding robots and people!!





Measurement and graphing centers this week in Mrs. Casto and Ms. Michaels class!




Mrs. Mildren's and Ms. Sam's class made bubble rainbows since they couldn't catch their little green friend!





March Madness has come to Mrs. Zundell's 3rd grade class, but with a twist! Instead of basketball teams, it's picture books that are battling it out. Guest readers are bringing each book to life read-alouds, and the class gets to vote for their favorites after every story. The books compete in a friendly showdown, with each round bringing a new contender, all leading to the ultimate book showdown! It's an exciting, book-filled adventure where every student gets to play a part in choosing the class's favorite read!





Please note the following school calendar updates due to make-up snow days:
Wednesday, April 16 will now be a full day of instruction.
Thursday, April 17 will be a day of instruction with a 2-hour early dismissal
